MISSION
This network recognizes that cultural heritage is often carried by Indigenous people and through Migration can travel the world and yet be suppressed by colonization, imperialism and assimilation. Recognizing that the stories and theatrical practices of the People of the Global Majority can often be lost or overlooked. This committee seeks to build a strong foundation to amplify and support Indigenous and Migration artists and theater practitioners, to create dialogue and connection and propose project partnerships that highlight these narratives. This network will expand and strengthen the performing arts field through theatrical practices exchanges and education from these transnational and diasporic communities.

PURPOSE
● To facilitate cultural exchanges, through dialogue and project collaborations with global partners, within the network, within ITI and beyond ITI.
● To elevate and learn from non-traditional theater practices from the perspective of indigenous cultures and migrants lens as a bridge toward understanding and compassion through the arts.
● To instill better and more frequent communication within existing network members; and with ITI at large
● To bring about a better understanding of the dynamics of the new world we live in, of forced and voluntary migration and mixed heritages by actively seeking ways to work with other ITI networks.
● To respect the great value of preserving cultures of indigenous people throughout the planet through dialogue, performance and representation.
● Network members do splendid work in their field and work on their own, or without other ITI collaborators. Their important work should be platformed and exposed via ITI website and other social media,
  ○ Posting of current activities in social media and ITI website to disseminate widely and frequently
  ○ To bring in new members by posting with the ITI newsletter
